NAPOLEON — Napoleon’s Blake Dunbar banked in a 3-pointer from 25 feet out on the right wing as time expired Saturday to beat Bowling Green, 41-40.
The Bobcats had taken a 40-38 lead on Trent Hinton’s driving layup along the left baseline with 1.4 seconds remaining.
The clock was all zeros after Hinton’s basket, but the officials put one second back on the clock.
Napoleon then inbounded the ball with Dunbar making the catch and getting the shot off to win the game.
‘‘Any time you put time back on the clock, you have got to keep playing. You can’t worry about what could of been; you just have to keep playing until the game is finally over,’’ said BG head coach Mark Malinowski. ‘‘Give them credit. They made the pass under pressure. They caught the basketball, and threw it up off the backboard and it went in.’’

SYLVANIA — Lindy DeLong struggled Friday night at Southview.
In fact, Perrysburg’s entire team struggled.
But like all good teams, the Yellow Jackets found a way to win, yet again, beating Southview 31-28.
DeLong had what was arguably her worst shooting night of the season, but she was perfect from the free-throw line when it mattered the most.
