CANTON — Bowling Green High School’s Emmy Sehmann, a sophomore, swam well in the Division I state championships Saturday.
Sehmann was fifth in the finals of the 200 freestyle in 1:50.16. She was also ninth in the consolation final of the 500 freestyle, finishing in 4:58.90. Her time was faster than the fifth through eighth place finishers in the championship final.
The top 16 swimmers in each event earn All-Ohio honors.
