OAKVILLE, Ontario — Appleby College built a 3-0 lead and held on for a 3-1 win Saturday over Bowling Green in a high school hockey game.
AC scored twice in the first period and once in the third period before BG averted a shutout on Phillip Rich’s goal with 11:18 remaining.
The Bobcats were out-shot by a 33-20 margin. BG’s Tanner Fausnaugh made 20 saves.
