OAKVILLE, Ontario  — Adam Furnas’ third-period goal snapped a 1-1 tie Sunday, giving Bowling Green a 2-1 win over Blyth Academy in a high school hockey game.
BA took a 1-0 lead in the first period, but the Bobcats tied the game on Grant DeWitt’s goal in the second period.
The Bobcats had just 16 shots on goal, compared to BA’s 24. BG’s Tanner Fausnaugh had 23 saves.
BG is 11-9-1 overall.
