Bowling Green Women's Garden Group
The June meeting of the Bowling Green Women's Garden Group was held at the home of Norma Stickler. Prior to the meeting, the group toured Norma Stickler's garden and Linda Kidd's flower garden.
Lynette Rosebrook and Linda Kuhn served as hostesses for the meeting.
Two guests were welcomed: Linda Hamilton and Stickler. Members answered roll call by telling what plants they had started by seed.
Jo Vernon presented a report on birds and Kuhn gave a recycling hint.
Members brought their empty pots and flats to the meeting for Wood Lane.
The next meeting will be July 16 at Rose Emmerich's home and the program topic will be container gardening.
