Four Seasons Garden ClubEleven club members and four guests met April 1 at Wood County Hospital
for a tour of the roof-top gardens led by Richard Bostdorff of Bostdorff Greenhouse and Dan Baker from the
hospital.This is the only roof-top garden in Wood County and the only one at a hospital. This is the
garden’s fourth growing season. Planted with eight different varieties of sedum, it is expected to last a
long time with minimal maintenance because there are no insect or disease pressures.Bostdorff provided two
pots of tulips which were given as prizes.Final revisions have been made to the Pemberville Fair Flower Show
schedule and will be printed for distribution. The flower show supplies have been moved to a new
location.Judy Sayen shared a catalog from Mulberry Creek Farms which has a lot of fairy garden items.Teri
Hansen and Trina Karns provided refreshments.The May meeting will be at North Branch Nursery with the topic
to be pruning or water gardens.News reminderDuring the growing season, area garden clubs are encouraged to
