Eight gardens featured in Fostoria area tour Sunday

FOSTORIA – The Fostoria Garden Club Ltd. has announced the eight gardens that will be shown on the
2013 Garden Tour, which will be held on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.The tour will start at Wesley United
Methodist Church at 1200 Van Buren St.The church has beautiful plants both outside and in their Narthax.
Professional Art work is also displayed in their gallery.Other homes on tour include:• Jeff and Michelle
Kingery’s garden, which features six huge flower beds, a pond and a beautiful deck. He also has a greenhouse
and a large vegetable garden.• Ed and Betty Mason have a beautifully landscaped backyard, complete with a
stunning pond and lighted waterfall.• Floyd and Ruthie Davis have turned their front yard into a gardener’s
paradise. Stop and look at all of the details.• Robert and Shellie Blake have a well-planned yard with a
small pond and lots of perennials. They have also worked in a strawberry patch!• Duane and Esther Reynolds
have landscaped all around their house. The beautiful backyard area includes a lovely gazebo with a swing.•
Jean Strong lives on the way to Risingsun and has six acres with many beautiful garden patches, allowing for
color all season long.• Jim and Gail Hull’s garden is a "Must See", and well worth the trip toward
Bettsville. They have a giant waterfall that spills into a very large pond.Tickets for the tour can be
purchased in advance from any garden club member, at the Review-Times office or the Fostoria Chamber of
Commerce.Tickets and maps may be purchased the day of the tour at Wesley United Methodist Church.
