LIME CITY - The brother of a man accused of murdering a Perrysburg Township woman was arrested Wednesday after being at-large since the shooting early Sunday. Raul Moya, 18, Toledo, was arrested by U.S. Marshals at the home of his mother in the 3300 block of Buckeye Street, Toledo. Moya was wanted on a charge of obstructing justice for allegedly aiding and abetting his brother, Jose Moya, Jr., 23, who is accused of the murder of 21-year-old Leandra Frankum Sunday. Jose Moya turned himself into police Tuesday afternoon and is being held on $545,000 bond on a charge of murder and several misdemeanors. Det. Sgt. James Gross of Perrysburg Township Police said this morning that after the Tuesday arrest of Jose Moya, contact was made with their mother and attorney in order to give Raul the opportunity to surrender himself to authorities. Gross said that at approximately 12:45 p.m U.S. Marshals decided to check on the mother's residence, and found Raul there. He was reportedly arrested without incident.
Raul Moya was arraigned Tuesday and is currently being held at the Wood County Justice Center on $105,000 bond, no 10 percent allowed. In addition to the obstruction charge, he is also charged with aggravated menacing, falsification, and resisting arrest. His next court ppearance is scheduled for Aug. 2.
