LIME CITY -Â Perrysburg Township Trustees approved a 10-year tax abatement request for a burgeoning local firm Wednesday. The body voted unanimously to approve the 100-percent abatement for Four M Holdings Ltd., which also does business as Northwood Industries, located at 7650 Ponderosa Road in the township. The business, owned by Kurt and Laura Miller, has existed for 40 years in Northwest Ohio and manufactures machine component parts and mechanical assemblies. It currently employs 18 people. The plan is for Four M to invest a total of $840,000 into the business, adding a $750,000 addition to its existing facility and hiring four new full-time workers. "We need the space to grow our business a little bit more," Kurt Miller said as he spoke before the trustees. Trustees Craig LaHote and Bob Mack both expressed appreciation for having such a successful firm in the township prior to the vote.
Trustee Gary Britten was absent from the meeting. The matter was to go before the Wood County Board of Commissioners this morning for final approval.
