PERRYSBURG - Harrison Rally Day will return to the downtown Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The annual event, commemorating a campaign rally held by William Henry Harrison in the then-village in 1840, will feature food, musical entertainment, and the work of a wide variety of artists.
The Harrison Rally Day Parade will kickoff the event at 10 a.m., traveling up Louisiana Avenue in the heart of the downtown.
A Marketplace area will feature merchant and service organization booths, and a "Taste of Perrysburg" food area will also be featured, as will children's games and activities.
Three local bands will perform at the event on-stage at the corner of Louisiana Avenue and Second Street. They will include:
• Blowing Grains at 11 a.m.
• Swingmania, 1 p.m.
• Rosie O'Grady's Good Time Jazz Band, 3 p.m.
Rally For the Arts, the event's community arts festival, will offer a selection of crafts and fine arts throughout downtown.
