N. Baltimore plant plans more jobs

COLUMBUS – A North Baltimore firms is a recipient of an Ohio Tax Credit Authority Job Creation Tax Credit
approved recently.
Continental Structural Plastics Inc. expects to create 56 full-time positions, generating $1.5 million in
additional annual payroll and retaining $4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s
expansion project in the village.
The firm manufactures composite products, using molding to supply structural and paint-ready exterior
parts for the auto, heavy truck and HVAC industries. The Tax Credit Authority approved a 50 percent,
six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Gov. John Kasich said the projects are set to create 1,311 jobs and retain 1,691 jobs statewide. During
its monthly meeting, the Tax Credit Authority reviewed economic development proposals brought to the
board by JobsOhio and its regional partners.
Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $47.7 million in new payroll, and spur
nearly $319.6 million in investment across Ohio.
