PERRYSBURG - The annual First Friday series will kick off this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the downtown Perrysburg along Louisiana Avenue.
The events, sponsored by Downtown Perrysburg Inc. and the Brown Automotive Group, will continue the first Friday of each month through October.
This year First Fridays will unveil an Entertainment Series on the Huntington Stage near Second Street, featuring a different act each month.
On Friday, the Perrysburg Musical Theatre organization will perform on the stage at 6:15 p.m., presenting a portion of their upcoming production of the musical "The Sound of Music."
Also performing that night will be area band The Skoobie Snaks.
Present at each of the First Fridays will be the Perrysburg Fire Division, Chortie the Clown, the YMCA Fun Bus, and the Family Entertainment Group.
Among other additions will be the Downtown Perrysburg Inc. Food Court, and the "DPI Gives Back" campaign.
Each month the DPI Gives Back campaign will feature a local organization, event or cause to spotlight and assist with donations.
