The Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board is considering conducting a county-wide behavioral health needs assessment.
"We have not done one in many years," said Judy Ennis, chair of the ADAMHS Board, at its meeting Monday.
"It would also help us as we try to figure out how to allocate our funds," she said.
The board will look into the feasibility of the assessment.
If completed, it would come during a time when several other county agencies, including the Health Department, Educational Service Center and Family and Children First Council have completed similar assessments and surveys.
"We already have a whole lot of information there, but I think we can build on it," said Tom Clemons, associate director of the ADAMHS Board.
