Businesses educated on human trafficking

Wood County Sheriff’s Office will be educating local businesses in the county on human trafficking
awareness.
Deputies will be distributing literature from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office with information on
human trafficking. The goal is to make business people aware of the warning signs of human trafficking.
By knowing the warning signs, the sheriff’s office said business people will be better able to report
suspected human trafficking.
The businesses will also be given window decals, funded by the Office of Ohio Criminal Justice Services.
