Bowling Green will hold a public information meeting next Friday to provide details about the
reconstruction of the intersection of Haskins and Poe roads.
The 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. event will be held in Council Chambers of the City Administrative Services
Building, 304 N. Church St.
The $700,000 project will add left turn lanes to Haskins Road, resurface the intersection, replace
traffic signals, replace curb ramps, sidewalks and curbs at the intersection, and install new sidewalk
on the west side of Haskins Road south from Poe Road.
Beginning April 5 Haskins Road will be closed for approximately 30 days. There will be no access to Poe
Road from Haskins Road.
Traffic on Poe Road will be maintained during construction. Facilities with multiple driveways on Poe
Road may be limited to a single driveway.
The project is funded in part by a Federal Highway Administration federal funding program administered by
the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Those who are unable to attend the open house, or have questions regarding this project can contact City
Engineer Troy Sonner at 419-354-6235 or troy.sonnerbgohio.org.
