Thresher reunion returns Sunday |

For the 52nd time, the annual Five Point Steam Threshers Reunion is set for Sunday. This year's event will be held at the corner of Lime City and Five Point Roads in Perrysburg Township. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. As always the show features antique tractors, steam engines and gas engines on display and operating throughout the day. Demonstrations will be held throughout the day of wheat threshing as well as sawmill and plowing demonstrations. The special plowing demonstration will start at 1 p.m.
Popular features return including the fresh steamed sweet corn and homemade bean soup. There will also be kettle-popped popcorn and beverages for sale. The children will be offered a kiddie tractor pull with registration starting at 1 p.m. and the pulls starting at 2 p.m. There are no pets allowed. Admission is free and the public is invited. A rain date has been set for July 22.
