|Lecture on sustainability offered by Lourdes|

SYLVANIA - On Nov. 12, the Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment Inc. will host a lecture titled: "The Essentials of Agricultural Sustainability." The lecture features John Ikerd, Professor Emeritus of Agricultural Economics, University of Missouri Columbia, who will speak on creating a sustainable agriculture by setting our priorities and principles right by giving the pursuit of happiness priority over the pursuit of economic efficiency.
S.A.V.E. is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate people of all ages about the environment and to link ecology and spirituality to bring to others a greater appreciation of the natural world.
