|Genoa FFA held kick-off picnic|

GENOA - The Genoa FFA kicked off the school year with a chapter picnic on Aug. 25. The picnic was held for the members and their families to gather together.
An icebreaker was held in the school's gymnasium as members were introduced and they told about who they were. Each person wrote down three things about themselves and the other members had to figure out which one was a lie.
New members were informed about supervised agricultural experience projects and toured the shop including seeing a small engine career development experience lab. Following the picnic served in the cafeteria, the parents and members mixed with each other to participate in an egg toss contest.
The event closed with an event allowing the people to shoot a bow and arrow at a target.
