Farm Briefs: Gypsy moth session rescheduled

Areas across Ohio are slated to receive gypsy moth aerial treatments by the Ohio Department of
Agriculture in early spring to slow the spread of the destructive insect. Department staff members will
host several open houses in treatment areas that will offer attendees the opportunity to speak directly
with those who work with the program, learn about the pest, and view maps of treatment areas.
The session for Hancock County has been rescheduled for Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Delaware Twp. Hall,
601 South Main Street, Mt. Blanchard.
Gleaner meeting reset
Due to a funeral the pancake and Portage Center Arbor #524 sausage supper and was canceled and
rescheduled for Feb. 15
The supper and meeting will be held beginning at 1 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, located on the corner of
Cloverdale and Linwood roads. Pancakes, syrup, and meat will be furnished. Those attending should bring
thier own table services, drink, and a dessert dish to pass. A short business meeting to plan activities
will follow.
