PEMBERVILLE - The Pemberville Free Fair Swine Scramble will be held Aug. 15.
Entries are now being accepted. The entry blanks are available at Countyline Co-op, Union Bank, Medicine Shoppe, Beekers General Store, and the Pemberville Library.
The deadline to enter is the end of business on Aug. 9.
Live and Learn
This year, the Live and Learn 4-H Club has met at various member homes and elected new officers.
Lilly Schmitz is the president, Rebekah Schmitz is the vice president, the secretary is Michael Rausch, Chloe Schmitz is the treasurer, Jarret Baldonado is the health and safety officer as well as recreation officer, the news reporter is Hanna Modene, and the historians are Alexis Rausch and Hanna Modene.
The club has donated toys, games, and their time to That Neighborhood Church and to the The Daughter Project for their community service projects.
A special meeting was held about organization and the club has decorated a booth at the Wood County Fair. They also will be volunteering at the 4-H Milkshake Barn at the Wood County Fair.
