Beaver Creek Boosters
Beaver Creek Boosters 4-H Club met Sunday at Calvary United Methodist Church.
Project demonstrations were presented by Jacob Caris, Ben Gray, Isaac Brewster, Dalton Walls, Caroline Battin, Luke Brewster, Ryan Gray, Buddy Limes, Kendra Limes, Drew Baus, and Ethan Lenox.
The Float and Fair Booth Committee will meet half an hour before the next meeting to discuss the float and booth theme.
The next meeting will be at the same location on June 30.

Scholarship deadline extended
The John Hirzel Memorial Scholarship deadline has been extended through June 28.
The scholarship is awarded annually to a college student entering their junior or senior year pursuing an agricultural or natural resources course of study. Funded by the Wood Soil and Water Conservation District, the scholarship is awarded as one $1,000 scholarship or two $500 scholarships. 'Wheat Field Day' set
The public is invited to attend the Wheat Field Day on June 20, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. It will be held at the Northwest Agricultural Research Station, 4240 Range Line Road, Custar.
Program includes OSU Extension and OARDC specialists discussing: rain, fungicide, scab, and vomitoxin; variety development in the age of genomics; the good and bad Insects in wheat; wide-row wheat management; and the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers update.
