'Farm Outlook' meeting set
The 2014 Farm Outlook meeting is set for Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Junior Fair Building on the Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 West Poe Road.
Cost to attend is $15, payable at the door.
Those planning to attend should reserve their lunch by Dec. 16 by calling Wood County Extension at 419-354-9050 or Ag Credit 419-352-5178.
The agenda features:
• Grain Market Outlook: Income Crisis Coming? by Matt Roberts, OSU Professor
• Farm Inputs and Land Values / Rent Issues by Barry Ward, OSU Asst. Professor
• Federal Farm Policy Update by Carl Zulauf, OSU Professor
Swine Scramble sale set
The 2013 Pemberville Swine Scramble sale will be held on Saturday at the Wood County Fairgrounds.
The sale starts at 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend and support the youth who caught the pigs at the Pemberville Fair.
