Gleaners to meet Sat.Portage Center Arbor No. 524 of the Gleaners will be meeting Saturday at
Center Township Fire Hall on the corner of Bowling Green Road and Carter Road.The group will be having soup
and dessert at 6 p.m. Those attending should bring their own table services and beverage. A short meeting
will follow the meal. The public is invited to join in.Livestock mortality composting certification session
setFor livestock producers wishing to obtain certification in mortality composting, a meeting to become
certified will be held on Nov. 20 at the Putnam County Extension office, 1206 East 2nd St., Ottawa.The
session will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A $10 registration fee can be paid at the door.Registration is
