BG FFA 'dunk and smash' tailgate event returns
The Bowling Green FFA chapter's "Dunk and Smash" event has now become an annual tradition.
This year's event will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. before the Bobcat football game versus Springfield. The event includes a dunk tank. The dunkees include both the principal, Jeff Dever and vice principal, Bob Yernick. of the high school, along with two teachers and four FFA members.
The FFA members scheduled are Amanda Barndt, Madalyn Fletcher, Max Holstein and Alex Wynn.
In addition, there will be a truck on the grounds with people able to take their turn at using a sledge hammer on the truck to smash it.
All proceeds from the event will be used for the chapter's donation to the Children's Hospital.
