Farm Science Review tickets
Those wishing to attend this year's Farm Science Review can save $3 by purchasing tickets early.
Pre-show tickets are $7 and are available until Sept 16 at the Wood County Extension Office, 639 Dunbridge Road. More than 100,000 people attend annually. September 17 - 19 at the Farm Science Review near London, Ohio to visit 600 exhibitors, see the latest ag technology, and learn from OSU experts. More information at www.fsr.osu.edu.
Eastwood bbq set
PEMBERVILLE - The annual Eastwood FFA chicken barbecue is scheduled for Sept. 20 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Eastwood Middle School Cafeteria.
If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please see an Eastwood FFA member or call the Eastwood High School office at 419-833-3611 and ask for the Agricultural Education department. Adult tickets are $8 each and include 1/2 chicken, a baked potato, applesauce, a roll, and drink. Children/senior citizens meals are $5 each and include 1/4 chicken, 1/2 baked potato, applesauce, a roll, and drink.
Desserts are also available at the door for $1 per serving. Though the official pre-sale closed Friday, additional tickets can be obtained. A limited amount of walk up sales may be available on the day of the barbecue.
