Final in ‘P Test’ series set
The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District will hold the final meeting of the "Can You Pass Your
‘P’ Test" series on Tuesday.
The meeting will feature Tim Barney from Agronomy First Consulting Service. Barney will be tying together
the first two meetings and sharing his insight, prior attendance is not required. Two hours of CCA
credit will be offered.
The meeting will be held at the district office, 1616 E. Wooster St., Suite 32 and will begin at 7 p.m.

Lake Erie Farm Forum nears
OAK HARBOR – The Lake Erie Farm Forum is set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. It will be preceded by the
Conservation Fair and refreshments at 5 p.m. It will be held at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds.
The forum’s agenda includes:
• Lake Erie Basics and Health: Dr. Jeff Reuter – Ohio Sea Grant
• Dealing with Algae Water: Henry Biggert – Carroll Water and Sewer District
• Fishing on Lake Erie: Dave Spangler – Charter Boat Captain Association
• Local Economic Impacts: Jim Sass-Ottawa County Commissioner, farmer
• The Healthy Lake Erie Fund: Sen. Randy Gardner invited
• SB 150: The Nutrient Management Bill: SWCD/NRCS speaker
• The Farmers BMP Tool Box: Bret Margraf – Seneca SWCD Nutrient Specialist
