Webinar on Farm Bill
A Webinar program focused on the 2014 Farm Bill taught by Dr Carl Zulauf, Ohio State University Extension
Economist, will be held Friday starting at 8 a.m.
The webinar is free and no registration is required.
Log in and test a system starting 24 hours prior to the webinar at
http://carmenconnect.osu.edu/ohioagmanager. The webinar address will be the same on Friday.
Participants will have the opportunity to type in questions in the chat box.
Regulations have not been written, so this will be a general overview and the specifics of the decision
between PLC (with or without SCO) and ARC is not available yet. Further webinars will be held as the
details become available.
The webinar will be recorded and posted on the http://ohioagmanager.osu.edu website under the resources
link on the left side of the front page. Interested parties can view it later at their convenience.
Serenity volunteers needed
LUCKEY – Serenity Farm Equestrian Center is now seeking new volunteers for its various programs.
An orientation program for new volunteers will be held at 6 p.m. March 25. The farm is seeking 15 new
volunteers for its 2014 programs. Volunteers should like exercise, kids and horses.
