The Wood County Beef Producers will hold its Black Swamp Fall Preview Sale on Oct. 20 at the Wood County Fairgrounds.
Check-in will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. with the Showmanship set to begin at noon followed by heifers and steers.
Entry fee is $25 per head with $5 for showmanship. All will be collected at the gate.
Prize money will be $150 for champion; $100 for reserve champion, followed by $75, third; $50, fourth; and $25 for fifth.
Details on the show include:
• Painting and building permitted
• No age requirement except for showmanship
• All classes will be by weight unless enough for heifer breed classes at time of check-in
• No market heifer class
• Food stand and show supplies will be available
