At Thursday's Senior Fair Board meeting, most of the discussion centered on finalizing plans for next week's Wood County Fair.
The board voted that electronic cigarettes would not be allowed to be used in non-smoking areas.
The board also agreed that all backpacks and bags brought through the gates could be subject to reasonable inspection.
The board authorized posting signs that would inform the public of both policies.
