"Sustainable business practices in Northwest Ohio" focuses on the Oakwood, Ohio-based Cooper Farms which has reached an impressive milestone of 75 years running strong. They are a leading food supplier through a variety of turkey, ham and chicken products sold across North America, however their innovation and state-of-the-art locations serve as another reminder that they are truly one of Northwest Ohio's better kept secrets.
Gary Cooper, chief operating officer, Cooper Farms, will present at the monthly Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum on June 20. Networking starts at 8 a.m., and the forum begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, located on Ohio 582, just west of Ohio 25.
At Cooper's four Ohio divisions, innovation and sustainable practices run rampant including their efforts in the Ohio Livestock Coalition, wind turbines, and serving as good environmental stewards with an advanced pork operation unlike most around the country.
