Breakfast forum to focus on composting

HASKINS – Composting will be the primary focus of the May Northwest Ohio Ag-Business breakfast forum.
The forum will be May 15 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, located on Ohio

Sharon Barnes, vice president, Barnes Nursery Inc., will discuss composting and horticultural techniques.

Barnes has worked at the Sandusky-based nursery for the past 34 years.
For more than two decades, she has worked exclusively in the research, development and operations of
Barnes Regional Composting Facility. Projects have included site development, equipment procurement, end
product development and feedstock permitting projects.
Those attending can learn techniques associated with composting correctly.
The cost is $10 per person payable at the door. Walk-ins are welcome, but guests are encouraged to
