Among the awards presented Saturday night at the Bowling Green FFA banquet were:
Proficiency awards
Steven Speck was the only double winner as 34 proficiency awards were recognized and awarded on Saturday night.
Speck received the Beef Production Entrepreneurship, sponsored by the Wood County Beef Producers and the Fiber and Oil Crop Production Entrepreneurship proficiency.

Sales awards
The top five sellers for the annual citrus fruit and nut sale were recognized. Kinsey Kale was the top seller with $2,417. She was followed by Eddie Tolles at $1,492; Henry Apple, $1,433; Ben Wilhelm, $1,375; and Jenna Grames, $1,235.
There were a total of three dozen members who sold more than $750 each.
The Bowling Green FFA Alumni and Friends Scholarship recipients were Henry Apple, Nick Brennan, Natalie Carpenter, Abri Dubler and Nathan Hoverson.
A silent auction was held Saturday night which raised $1,404 to be put toward those scholarships.
Other honors/awards
Ag Credit 110 Percent Award was presented to Jordan Engle.
The DeKalb Award was presented to Henry Apple.
The Wood County Soil & Water Conservation District Award was presented to Tim Kleman.
Spirit awards
Spirit of FFA awards, sponsored by John Hartman were presented to two members of each class.

• Sophomore: Mason Apple and Susan Johnson
• Junior: Amanda Barndt and Madalyn Fletcher
• Senior: Ashley Halleck and Nathan Hoverson
