The monthly "Ag-Business Breakfast Forum" returns on Thursday with a focus on "The Importance of Going Local with Foods."
Matthew Kennedy, owner, Sustain Brand, will present the topic. Networking starts at 8 a.m., and the forum begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation.
Kennedy will discuss why he believes consumers should choose local foods - which greatly impacts local and regional food systems and retail outlets.
The public is invited to attend the sessions which include an all-you-can-eat breakfast - just $10/person payable at the door. Walk-ins are welcome, but guests are encouraged to reserve a seat in advance.
