The Duke's Mixture 4-H Club meeting took place July 21 at the Bushman residence.
At the meeting members were able to look at a prototype of what the club shirts will look like. The color of the shirt will be black and the lettering a dark blue. The front of the T-shirt will have a clover and the back will feature a detailed farm scene. If members chose a pocket for their shirt there will be a $4 charge.
The club also talked about the booth theme. It was decided that they would do a beach theme due to the Beach Boys coming. They changed the slogan to "Come to Kokomo with Dukes Mixture."
Members were reminded of upcoming events. The first event will be meeting for booth setup Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The next event will follow is the parade on Monday. Everyone is asked to meet in front of the hog barn o at 6:30 p.m. and have thier shirts on and be ready to go. The last event is the milkshake booth. The club will be working on the Friday night of the fair from 8:30-11 p.m. At the meeting members were divided into two shifts. Make sure parents come who were assigned so there is a total of six adults per each shift.
