On Friday, the Jackson Livestock 4-H club held its final monthly meeting. There was a cookout held at advisor Matt and Monica Davis' house before the meeting.
Roll call was conducted by asking members what their favorite fair food was.
Demonstrations were given by Tonee Weaver who spoke on steer carcass evaluations. Owen Basinger gave a demonstration on the different kinds of diseases you can find in a goat. Hannah Basinger then spoke about the different diseases that occur in chickens.
Club members then were given reminders of livestock and clothing judging/Style Revue and reminded of the dress code for interviews. They also were told club shirts would be given out at fair. The members had their pictures taken and worked on activities for the fair booth. Finally advisors Matt and Monica Davis looked over livestock project books. This was Jackson Livestock's final meeting before fair.
