Gold Medal
Gold Medal 4-H Club met April 12 at Adams Conservation Club and April 24 at W. W. Knights Club.
At the meetings, the members have been able to display their talent through project activities and events held during the meeting.
At Adams Conservation Club the members were able to do archery, Jorge Ramirez, who is doing an archery book, was eager to be the first one to try and he hit the target every time. All the members enjoyed the event and even many parents tried.
At the W. W. Knight Club, the group had a potluck and a few of the kids with a cooking project made food for it. Samantha Drzewiecki, one with a cooking book, made fruit dip. Samantha said ”I chose this book because I really wanted to learn how to cook for my family and it is always fun to eat the food you made.”
She is also one of the recreation directors, as she and Rania Maaraba sat the whole group down to play the telephone game.

Champion Drive
Members of the Champion Drive 4-H Club met April 27 at the Central Joint Fire Station to discuss future fundraisers and a tour of the station.
There were two demonstrations, Hannah Betz told the group about things you need for a calf. Madison Feehan taught us how to properly clean pennies. The club got to see and take turns getting into a fire truck. Members also had the chance to spray a fire hose.
Future projects for the club will be a fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Bowling Green on May 29. The club will have its quality assurance on June 8. Members were informed of other upcoming events for the fair.
The next scheduled meeting is May 18 in the banquet room of Elmwood Community Center.
