The Golden Key 4-H Club met Sunday at the Creps farm.
The Creps did their demonstrations on their horses and Natalie Beaverson did hers on sewing.
The officers reminded everyone of the busy day planned for May 18. At 9 a.m., the club will be holding a bake sale in Custar. While some of the club is there, the rest will be at the recycling in Rudolph at 9:45 a.m. Then at noon, everyone will be gathering for a meeting.
The Gold Medal 4-H Club held its 2013 kick-off and organizational meeting on March 10 at Perrysburg Way Public Library
Club officers were elected at the meeting and the club approved the constitution and set annual dues of $3.
The annual club plans and meetings were reviewed. The club will be collecting socks for "Hannah's Socks" charitable cause.
Membership and member commitment forms signed and turned in. A parent's meeting was held while Jenny Schaller led the members in recreation.
James Hanneman gave a "Health and Nutrition" activity.
Cloverbud members made "boo boo" bunnies.
The club also reviewed activities from its open house held Feb. 23.
On March 24, the club held a "Movie Theater Tour" at Levis Commons.
Club members also discussed a collection box for Hannah's Socks.
Some of the club members attended the movie, "The Great and Powerful Oz."
On April 20, the members helped to distribute the Hannah's Socks which were collected.
At the Lucas County Library, the members distributed socks to the needy
Members also talked about dues and Club T-shirts
Hanneman gave a health and safety report about running and bike riding
The Cloverbuds decorated catapult crafts.
Another meeting was set for last Sunday.
