Lucky Charms
On Feb. 23 the Lucky Charms 4-H Club gathered at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green for officer
installation.
For roll call, members answered with their favorite Winter Olympic sport. Ice Skating was the
overwhelming favorite. Members selected meetings to give demonstrations at, and filled out enrollment
forms. As a part of their group project, Snack Attack, members tried exotic fruits. Favorites included
fresh coconut, ugly fruit, and star fruit.
Member Keira Miller demonstrated rifle positions and introduced members to her robot Eugene, as a part of
her 4-H Rifle and Robotics Projects. Older members advised new public speakers to involve the audience
and project their voice when giving demonstrations. Recreation Officer Duncan Schultz led members in the
game "Telephone." Phrases changed immensely, and the results were quite comical. The next
meeting will be Sunday.

All 4-H clubs are strongly urged to have the club reporters submit news from their meetings.
The preferred method of submission is by email to the farm editor, Bill Ryan. That e-mail is
[email protected].
Reporters should include the date, place and time for the next meeting along with their phone number
which will not be published.
