Way Library offers programs for homeschoolers

PERRYSBURG – The New Year starts off with more programs being offered at Way Library specifically
for homeschooled boys and girls.Afternoon Adventures: Magnets is being presented on Jan. 6 at 1:30 p.m. for
ages 5-7. The children will be introduced to the workings of magnets in this hands-on program. Online
registration is required.Book Talk is Jan. 13 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The book under discussion will be
"Ice Drift" by Theodore Taylor. This is an adventure story of two Inuit boys who get stranded on
an ice floe that breaks away from the land. They must depend on their wits and courage as they struggle to
survive. Youngsters are to sign up at the Youth Services Desk where copies of the book are available for
check-out.Mad Scientists’ Club: Microscopic Investigations is being offered on Jan. 20 at 1:30 p.m. for ages
8-12. The topic will be What Is That Stuff? Boys and girls will examine a variety of slides under the
