PERRYSBURG - The year 2013 starts with Way Public Library continuing to offer programs specifically for homeschooled boys and girls.
Book Talk is being presented on Monday at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12.  The book under discussion will be "My Side of the Mountain" by Jean Craighead George. This Newbery Honor Book is an adventure story of a boy who decides to live in the woods using only nature's resources and his own wits to survive. Books are available for check-out at the children's desk.
Mad Scientists' Club will be offered on January 14 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The topic will be simple circuits. Youngsters will learn how electrical circuits work by designing a circuit board matching game. Online registration is required.
Writers' Corner: Describe It! will be held on January 28 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 9-12. Students will practice writing descriptively. The goal is to write in such detail that the written word can be visualized. Online registration is required.
Please register online at www.waylibrary.info or call (419) 874-3135, ext. 116, and a librarian will be of assistance.
