|Way Library offers events for homeschoolers|

PERRYSBURG - The year 2013 starts with Way Public Library continuing to offer programs specifically for homeschooled boys and girls.
Book Talk is being presented on Monday at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The book under discussion will be "My Side of the Mountain" by Jean Craighead George. This Newbery Honor Book is an adventure story of a boy who decides to live in the woods using only nature's resources and his own wits to survive. Books are available for check-out at the children's desk.
Mad Scientists' Club will be offered on January 14 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The topic will be simple circuits. Youngsters will learn how electrical circuits work by designing a circuit board matching game. Online registration is required.
Writers' Corner: Describe It! will be held on January 28 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 9-12. Students will practice writing descriptively. The goal is to write in such detail that the written word can be visualized. Online registration is required.
