FREMONT - Since spring semester at Terra State Community College doesn't begin until Jan. 13, students will still have time to register for classes even after flipping the calendar to 2014.
To help with that process, Terra State is hosting an extra series of Instant Admission Days for new and returning students.
"Everyone is so busy preparing for the holidays that sometimes our students put off preparing for spring semester," said Kristen Taylor, director of admissions. "So we are offering three more full-service days to help. And we are even adding some Saturday hours on Jan. 4 to make it really convenient."
Instant Admission Days are Jan. 2 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Jan. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Jan. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students will be able to complete the application process, complete placement testing, and receive advising in preparation for orientation and registration. Assistance with financial aid forms will also be available, all without an appointment.
Participants should bring official and final high school or college transcripts, and it is recommended that the application is completed at home before arriving on campus for Instant Admission Days. It is available online at www.terra.edu.
For more information, call 419-559-2349 or visit the college's website at www.terra.edu.
