Emily Reynolds
Elmwood High School
JERRY CITY - Emily Reynolds was named Student of the Month for March at Elmwood High School. The senior, of Wayne, is the daughter of Greg and Jennie Reynolds.
She has a 4.0 grade point average and is a member of National Honor Society. She also is a member of Spanish, science and art clubs; and FFA. She is a four-year letter-winner in basketball and softball, and was named first team all-SLL in basketball.
Reynolds is a 10-year member, and vice president this year, of Farmcrafter 4-H club, through which she shows hogs and steers.
She plans to attend the University of Findlay to major in education and play softball for the Oilers.

Bowling Green High School
The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have picked Leela Singh as their Student of the Month for March. She is the daughter of Lynne Hewitt and Shashi Singh.
The senior, a member of National Honor Society, is taking all honors-level classes this year. She is president of Model United Nations, and is a member of marching and symphonic bands, as well as drama club.
Singh has earned many awards through OMEA solo and ensemble contests,  and was picked for the District I Honors Band. She's had her artwork selected for the Governor's Show for three years, and she has been a winner in the Bowling Green Woman's Club writing contest.
Her volunteer activities include the Bowling Green Swamp Arts Festival, 2008 Obama presidential campaign, and the Wood County District Public Library summer program "Let's Read Math."
Singh plans to attend Ohio State University to study environmental policy.
