Elmwood High School
Chelsie Schmitz is the September Student of the Month at Elmwood High School.
She's the daughter of Dennie and Michele Schmitz, of Wayne.
The senior plays varsity softball and varsity volleyball.
She has a 4.0 gpa.
Schmitz also is president of FFA and National Honor Society, and is a member of Spanish and art clubs, student council, and yearbook committee.
She also is president of her 4-H club and participates in Junior Fair Board.
She plans to attend Bowling Green State University.

Eastwood High School
Kellie Dennis is the September Student of the Month at Eastwood High School.
She's very active in Eastwood's music program, serving as president of Tri-M, being a three-year squad leader and two-year section leader, and well as participating in the honors band and leadership clinic.
She has earned academic achievement awards for three years, and has been named outstanding marcher in the band. She also took part in the Carpe Diem leadership program.
Dennie has been tutoring for two years and has served as a teacher aide for one.
With her youth group, she is a student leader, a member of the dance and drama team, and has helped with community outreach.
The daughter of David and Joy Dennis, Perrysburg, the senior plans to study math and secondary education in college.
