Lakota High School
KANSAS - Lauren Raymond has been selected by the staff of Lakota High School as the January Student of the Month.
She is a senior and is a member of student council, show choir and FFA and has also participated in musical productions at LHS.
Outside of school, Raymond is a member of the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Kent State University to major in early childhood education.
The senior is ranked 24th in her class with a 3.09 grade point average.
She is the daughter of John and Amy Raymond of Bradner.
Jessica Walter has been selected by the staff of Lakota High School as the December 2012 Student of the Month.
Walter is a senior and is a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams. She is also a member of yearbook, show choir and currently serves as National Honor Society vice president. The senior has also participated in musical productions at LHS.
Outside of school, Walter is a member of the Klover Kids 4-H club and serves as president as well as a member of Hope In Christ Church.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Owens Community College to obtain a degree as an occupational therapist.
She is ranked 12th in her class with a 3.44 grade point average.
She's the daughter of Brian and Jeannie Walter of Bradner.
