ROSSFORD - Rossford Junior High is participating in the ACES Youth Ambassador Exchange program.
American Cultural Exchange Service is looking for host families for Chinese middle school students, age 13-14, arriving in January as part of the Youth Ambassador Exchange Program.
The YAE Program is a three-week culture and language program. The program needs host families who are eager to show these youth ambassadors what life is like in the United States.
Students are eager to help with chores, attend family events, follow all host family rules, and share their culture.
Students speak some English, have personal spending money, and are covered by insurance.
ACES coordinators are responsible for all program activities and help with orientations, transportation, cultural adjustments, and supporting family's relationship with the student guest.
For an application to host or more information contact Val Virag at 419-466-7074 or Danielle Horner at 419-351-5006.
