PERRYSBURG - The Marketing Program at Perrysburg High School has qualified seven students to attend and compete at the International DECA competition in Anaheim, Calif., April 23-28. The bulk of the trip will be paid for by the sponsor of the program, Penta Career Center; however, each student will be responsible for their food, and additional activities for the trip this will cost approximately $450 per student.
As a way to offset that cost, students are asking area businesses and residents for sponsorship.
The Perrysburg Marketing Education program is offered to juniors and seniors. Students receive an advanced challenge in product development, advertising, public relations, marketing research, selling, strategic management practices, as well as many other marketing concepts.
Make all checks payable to PHS DECA.
