PERRYSBURG – May 28 was an exciting day for the more than 300 senior students at Perrysburg High School.

Not only was it their last day of school, but 10 of them won prizes -one being a brand new car.
Melissa Schoenlein won the 2014 Hyundai Elantra.
For the fifth year, Steve Taylor of Taylor Hyundai, awarded a new car to a winning PHS senior.
Seniors were able to receive multiple entries in the drawing based on the following criteria:
• For each "A" received each quarter
• For each sport and/or extra-curricular activity they were involved in
• For teacher recommendations (each teacher was asked to choose a deserving student to receive an entry)

• Students must also have good attendance and no disciplinary issues to qualify
Ten students whose entries were drawn received a $100 in local gift cards from Taylor Hyundai. Three
students whose entries will be drawn received a key to be tried in three 2014 Hyundai Elantras parked on
stage in the PHS auditorium.
Taylor told the three students to "start their engines," and Schoenlein’s car started.
