Perrysburg orchestra in concert tonight PDF Print E-mail

On Jan. 20, 22 students from Perrysburg High School Orchestra auditioned for and were accepted to participate in the OMEA District One Honors Orchestra. Students performed "Rackoczy March" by List, "Andante Festivo" by Sibelius, "Suite for Strings" by Rutter and "Cook It Hot or Get Out of The Kitchen" by Patterson.
They were under the direction of Mark Sholl from Hilliard Davidson Schools.
PHS Orchestra students who participated:
Violins: Henry Yang, Robby Warton, Madison Humphrey, Rayat Ahmed, Jordyn Bird, Fiona Smith, Olivia Lahey, Joseph Park, Evan Cygnor, Mackenzie Williams.
Violas: Rebekah Meyers (principal chair) and Chris Klammer.
Cellos: Sarah Smith (principal chair) Huan Liang, Sammy Neiswander, Eunice Park, Alexandra Phlegar.
Bass: Ryan Smith, Stephen Wolf, Adam Behrendt, Alex Klosyter, Domenick Horvat.
Three orchestra students are going to participate in the OMEA All State Orchestra in Columbus next week. They are senior Rebekah Meyers, viola; senior Sarah Smith, cello; and sophomore Henry Yang, violin.
The students will be in concert tonight at 7 at Perrysburg High School.
