|NDA stages 'Shrek the Musical'|

TOLEDO - Notre Dame Academy's production of "Shrek the Musical" opens this weekend.
Based on the 2001 Dreamworks film, the musical follows Shrek, Fiona and Donkey on an adventure including some beloved fairy tale characters.
Performance dates are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; Oct. 26-27 at 7 p.m.; and Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Ave Maria Performing Arts Center at NDA, 3535 W. Sylvania Ave.
More than 100 students from Notre Dame Academy, St. John's Jesuit High School, and St. Francis de Sales High School are involved in the production.
Students from Bowling Green involved in the production include Abbe Bombrys, Connor Long, Mary Scherer and Jani Shope.
Tickets can be purchased through www.showtix4u.com, www.nda.org, or by calling 419-475-9359 for more information. Adults are $15 and students/children are $10.
