Lakota stages 'Bye, Bye, Birdie' |

KANSAS - Lakota High School and Middle School students will be presenting the spring musical "Bye, Bye, Birdie" this month. Show dates and times are March 22-23 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the school auditeria. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens and will be available for pre-sale at the school or at the door prior to each show. The musical comedy begins to unfold as Conrad Birdie is about to be inducted into the Army. His agent, Albert Petersen, with the help of his faithful secretary Rose, create one final national publicity plan, "One Last Kiss" by Conrad, and randomly select a member of his fan club, Kim, to receive that kiss.
The cast includes sophomore David Murphy as Albert, senior Carlee Conrad as Rose, eighth-grader Collin Gosche as Conrad and Kyleigh Harrison as Kim.
